FAQs
Coins and cards
+ How do I collect cards?
Cards can be collected in several ways. You earn cards by winning games, completing blocks of levels (except for Elevens, which doesn't have blocks), and claiming rewards in our Season Pass section. Collecting cards unlocks even more rewards and card. You can also buy specific cards or the remaining cards needed using coins. You must complete a deck to be able to play with it. After completing a deck, you'll have the opportunity to collect shiny upgrades of cards for that deck. You can adjust your chances of getting cards from specific decks by using the Boost and Block slots.
+ How do the Boost and Block slots work?
The boost and block slots are found in the gallery; accessed via the card pack icon. Each slot can hold both a deck to boost and a deck to block. To add a card to a slot, first select whether you would like to boost or block by toggling between the plus button (boost) and the no-entry button (block). Then click on the card slot and select the deck you want to put in it. To remove a deck, simply click on the slot and you'll be given the option to remove it. You receive extra slots with Club Flick and Collector, additional slots are also available to purchase. Any given deck can only be placed in one slot.
+ How do I change the selected deck?
Click on the card pack icon in the tab selection bar, this will open the gallery. From here, you can click on the decks you currently own under “My Decks”, once you are in the deck you wish to select, click on the “activate” button.
+ How do I change tabletops?
Click on the card pack icon in the tab selection bar to open the gallery. From here, click or tap on a deck to view it. Next, tap the background selection square and select your chosen background.
Each background also has an alternate version that is only available to Season Pass holders.
+ How do I obtain Coins?
You can receive coins by:
○ Finding them underneath cards as you play
○ Winning a game (amount of coins received is based on the game and difficulty)
○ Participate in the Daily Challenge (via the “Flick” starting page) to win double coins
○ Play on “Flick Fridays", which doubles the amount of coins you win
○ Purchasing them with real currency in-game Store page

Gameplay
+ I used a lot of Hints and it made the game unwinnable. Why did this happen?
Hints only help you by helping you identify possible moves based on the current state of the game. It will not take previous moves you have made into account nor will it calculate all potential moves that can be made afterwards, so it can sometimes leave you with no further moves to make. Using a Key solution will walk you through the level entirely.
(We’re not being mean, it’s just that solving solitaire games in real-time is simply not possible.)
+ Why is the game performing poorly on my device? (e.g. running slow, overheating, slow to load, high battery usage)
Flick Solitaire is designed to offer a unique, fluid experience, which needs more power than your average solitaire game. If you tap the Settings “cog”, you can try the following things:
- Turn off "Special Effects"
If the game is performing particularly badly on your device please let us know by emailing support@flick.games with info on your device and experience.
+ Why do I keep running out of moves for Elevens?
Elevens differs from other games as it’s always random, unlike other games with fixed deals per level that can always be solved. In Easy and Medium modes, we make sure a certain number of moves can always be made, increasing the likelihood of solving the game. Hard mode is entirely random making it just like playing with real cards. Give it a shot and test your luck! Due to the random nature of it, this is also why you cannot use Solution keys on Elevens, and why there are no level blocks for it.
+ How do I progress through the levels?
The game is divided into Levels and Blocks. Levels are unlocked once you have played the previous level even if you don’t win. During a game click on the cross icon to exit and it will take you back to the level block, you will be able to play the next level. This is effectively “skipping” a level, but you can go back and complete the level at any time. You can also unlock a solution for a guaranteed win. Blocks are unlocked if you have played all the levels in the previous block, a bonus is awarded if you win all the games in a block.
+ How do I unlock a solution?
During a game you can purchase a Solution Key by clicking on the key icon, this will walk you through a level from start to finish, showing you the moves you must take to complete it. If you accidentally make a move different from the Solution Key’s path, the key button will turn red and it will stop showing you the walkthrough. To get back to the walkthrough, simply undo the last move you made by tapping the Undo icon at the bottom of the screen.
+ The gameplay speed seems a bit sluggish, particularly when dealing cards. Is there a way to speed this up?
Of course! If you tap the Settings “cog”, you will see a Slider for “Gameplay Speed”. Adjust this to your liking for a snappier, speedier gameplay experience!
Controls
+ Are there keyboard shortcut keys?
On computer: Press [tab] to toggle full screen Press [esc] to go back or exit the game More shortcuts will be added soon.
+ Do you support game controllers and/or the Steam Deck?
Whilst Flick runs well on the Steam Deck we have not yet optimised for it, or added controller support. We’ll be adding this during Early Access.
Season Pass
+ How does Season Pass work?
Every month you have the opportunity to purchase a season pass “Club Flick” or our premium “Collector” tier. These allow you to gain additional rewards such as cards, coins, alternate backgrounds and additional Boost/Block slots so that you can complete your card collections faster.
On Steam: Each Season Pass purchase tied to a specific month. It is individual and does not renew. e.g. If you purchase a pass part way through a month you will only have access for the remainder of the month.
On Mobile: Season Pass terms last for 1 month from the start date, and automatically renew so cancel via your platform’s own subscription management page.
Accessibility
+ I am struggling to read the cards! Is there a way to make them easier to read?
Each deck in the game is uniquely designed by a different artist. We give our artists a huge amount of creative freedom and whilst we always work with them to maximise legibility and accessibility, inevitably some are more readable than others. If you have specific feedback please email: feedback@flick.games
If you find a particular deck challenging to read, you can change your current deck by clicking on the card pack icon in the tab selection bar, this will open the gallery. From here, you can click on the decks you currently own under “My Decks” once you are in the deck you wish to select, click on the “activate” button. The two default decks you have are far more legible and easier to read!
+ I find the visuals and sounds of the game overwhelming! Can I tone these down at all?
Yes, absolutely! If you click the Settings "cog" at the top left of the screen, you'll find options for “SFX Volume”, "Special Effects", “Card Back Brightness” and "ASMR Audio."
Disabling Special Effects will remove many of the extra visual elements (such as the animation when placing a card on the discard pile).
Enabling ASMR Audio will limit the game to a small selection of quieter sounds, creating a much more peaceful audio experience overall.
If we can improve further and let us know.
+ I’m left-handed and find it hard to reach some of the cards. Is there an left-hand option?
There sure is! If you click the Settings “cog” and and disable the “Right-handed” option, this should enable Left-Hand mode.
+ The camera movement makes me feel nauseated. Can I tone this down at all?
Yes you can! If you click the Settings “cog”, you should see a slider for “Camera Movement”. You can reduce this slider to zero if it is making you uncomfortable. You can also disable the “Auto Zoom” option which may help reduce the uncomfortable feeling.
