QA & Player Experience Manager

The Role ♥️♠️♣♦

Our growing team is looking for our first employee for QA & Player Experience. You will be working directly with the dev team and play a major part in enhancing player experience in this classic Solitaire with an artistic twist. Testing, and assuring the game quality, interacting with our diverse and growing player base, you will be a key member of the dev team to ensure the smooth running of the game. This role will grow into an Associate Producer role with the right potential and passion.

The role will include:

  • Testing Flick Solitaire daily to identify and to report bugs, then providing reports to the Development Team for debugging and UX enhancement

  • Ensuring the quality and functionality of the game on iOS, Android, web and other future platforms before they are released to the public

  • Maintaining database and inventory of testing devices and accounts relating to different platforms

  • Monitor game stability, crashes, ANRs and more via dashboards and tools

  • Continually contribute to and improve our QA & release processes

  • Supporting and interacting with players across channels (email, Discord, responding to reviews, etc.)

  • Writing FAQs and guides that will be published on website and socials

  • Articulating bugs and improvement needs to the Development Team

With the desire to be involved with:

  • Capturing game footage and screenshots

  • Processing art and content for builds

  • Manage translations

  • Basic game scripting (e.g. animations - we will teach you)

  • Contribute to ASO work (e.g. keywords, screens, text and more)

  • Release management

About you 🤩

  • As a 100% remote company you must be highly self-managed, efficient, focused, and results driven

  • Have a deep love of solitaire and card games and a desire to play every day!

  • At least 1 year of QA experience for a mobile game

  • Have a solid understanding of mobile monetisation

  • Be creative and passionate in breaking the game and finding exploits

  • Be driven by player experience

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Great communication skills: with the team and players alike

  • Positive attitude, with high integrity and low ego

  • Excited to work in a startup environment, not afraid to roll up your sleeves and to be proactive

  • Have the right to work in the UK

  • Ambition to grow into an Associate Producer role if successful
