Flick on Steam: FAQs
COMING TO STEAM: SUMMER 2025 - WISHLIST BELOW! 🙏🃏
A big part of Flick’s mission has always been to bring the magic of solitaire to a NEW generation of players. Solitaire is a game you can play forever, and we want to be your place to chill for decades. So for the last 2 years, we’ve been hard at work rebuilding Flick for our future: we call this Flick V3. It’ll be a massive update to the mobile version and allows us to launch on Steam for PC and Mac - something we’ve dreamed about since day 1.
So let’s answer a few of your burning questions about the Steam version:
When will Flick launch on Steam?
We're aiming to launch into Early Access in July/August 2025. This isn't quite Flick Solitaire as you know it: we've rebuilt the game from the ground up, especially for this launch! Expect even more detailed and beautiful cards, smoother gameplay and much more. We are calling this "V3" as it's really a massive FLICKING upgrade.
How much will Flick cost on Steam?
The price is as Flick on mobile, free; however, we hope you will consider supporting us and our mission of commissioning diverse global artists by buying a Season Pass.
Will there be ads?
No. The Steam version will be ad-free. As a company that currently makes most of its money from ads on mobile, this is a little scary for us. 😅
How can I support the game on Steam?
There will be a monthly Season Pass to earn extra rewards. DLCs will be available during times of the year, featuring amazing art by indie artists.
Can I transfer progress between mobile and PC and vice versa?
We will be introducing a login system that will allow you to play across devices and sync your progress between them. Play on your phone on the bus, play on your tablet on the sofa, play on your computer at work :-o.
What game modes will be available?
To get the game or a demo out ASAP, the first playable build may be Classic Solitaire (patience) only. However, the new game allows adding game modes much more easily, so it will soon have parity with mobile.
Can I play the ‘Daily Challenge’ on Steam?
Yes, you can play on the device of your choosing! Note that you will not be rewarded multiple times for completing it on multiple devices.
Will ‘Thank Flick It’s Friday’ still be a thing?
We may prioritise getting the game into players' hands before implementing all extra features, but if it's not in for launch, it will come soon.
Will there be new decks to collect each month?
Yes! As in the mobile version, we will have fabulous new partnerships with indie artists and some special guests joining the 60+ artists to design decks to collect. We're also planning some fantastic "game collab" decks. 😱
How will the card collection system work on Steam?
The card collection system has been revamped. When we upgraded Flick to V2, we made it all about player choice: you chose which decks to unlock for collection and ONLY won these cards. Whilst this was an improvement over Flick V1, it meant that players were no longer discovering new artists they love by randomly winning exciting new cards. In V3, we hope we've found a better balance between choice and luck. 🍀

Can I still leave a review?
Please do. Positive reviews, along with playtime, will help boost Flick on Steam! If you're frustrated with bugs, changes or simply need help, please email us - we promise to do our best to assist. 💖
Steam achievements?
OFC!
Steam Badges, etc?
Yes, we're planning an exciting Steam collection meta. Stay tuned.
What will happen to the mobile version?
To enable progress syncing between devices, we will be migrating all mobile players to the shiny new Flick V3, too. ✨
Will Flick V3 be available on Mac as well as Windows?
Absolutely, we’re working towards both, although Mac might follow a couple of months after the PC release.
Will Flick V3 have controller support?
Not yet! We definitely want to add it and have some ideas on how to do it really well - the FLICK way!! This will take more time and will be added post the Steam release.
