What’s Been Flicking!?
Hello Flickers,
Ian here - Flick creator and general team dogsbody (Katie, didn’t want me to write that, but I do a bit of everything!).
We launched Flick in June 2020, developed by just me and Alan with the help of some lovely artist friends and Katie on PR. It has always been our mission to support and feature diverse global artists, and we have now commissioned an astounding 65! It’s something we’re very proud of. Art is the heart of Flick and always will be.
During that time, we’ve grown to a talented team of 7 thanks to:
a) You. Thanks for playing, watching ads (we hate them too) and best of all, supporting us via the Season Pass, purchases, or even backing our Kickstarter. 💖
b) Our angel investors who have allowed us to grow the game, our team and ambition. 🪽 Thank you for your patience and continued support.
Now, 5 years on, we’re preparing to launch a brand new and improved Flick on Steam (PC and Mac), and we couldn’t be more excited about the future of Flick. You can expect higher fidelity graphics, showcasing the art so it looks even more amazing, a new collection system and much more. Best of all, with a new login system, your progress will sync across all your devices. We call the new version V3, and will make it much easier and quicker to add new features and game modes going forward - FreeCell (finally!) here we come! 💥
Play on your phone on the bus, play on your tablet on the sofa, play on your computer at work. 😯
So, for all those waiting for new game modes, gameplay improvements and updates, now you know why… we’ve been rather busy.
It’s a critical time for Flick. We’ve invested a huge amount of time, money, and love into V3 - so we really, REALLY hope you like it.
