Flick Update: We’re Listening. Here’s What’s New & Coming Soon…

Hello Flickers,

We hope you’re enjoying getting your fix of Flick on PC and mobile, and loving the freedom of syncing your progress across whatever platform you’re in the mood to play on.

Thank you to everyone who’s shared feedback since the V3 update. We’ve read everything, and we want you to know we’re listening and already acting on it. Flick is shaped by its players, and your voices genuinely guide what we improve next.

If you want to talk directly with us, report bugs, or show off your deck completions, Discord is the best place to find us; we’re there every day.

What’s in the latest build

  • Pack opening: Animation improvements & polishing

  • Level Select: "x" to show if you attempted a level, and "stars" if you got the best score

  • Card collection fixed so you mostly win cards from decks you're already collecting

Based directly on your feedback, the pack opening has been polished and tightened. Smoother, snappier, and we hope less overwhelming, with an added speed-up option. This is the first step, with more refinements soon.

What We’re Improving Next

These are being worked on now and will roll out in upcoming builds:

• iOS subscription processing fixes

• Post-level stats are coming back (for now, you can long-press a level to see the graph)

• Fixes for crashes when opening packs (iOS)

  • iOS build "game mode" enabled for smoother performance

  • New sound effects

  • Sell card button in the 'big card view'

We’ll share updates as each improvement goes live.

With 70+ indie artist decks (and more coming - we can’t wait to show you), many players weren’t discovering new art at all. Flick is built around art discovery and supporting the real artists who design every deck.

The new collection system helps bring that creativity forward with:

No duplicate cards until a deck is complete

Free Boost + Block slots so you can focus on your favourites

• More chances to discover new art while you play

These changes support the game’s long-term future, our artists, and our tiny team as we continue building Flick for years to come.
